“I had a great time in this class. Marianne is a fantastic and friendly teacher, explaining every step as she went along. Having not done anything like this before I was so impressed with what I was able to paint in 2 hours!”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the experience creating with Marianne. She was so patient and open to teaching us, coped so beautifully with all our questions and took every opportunity to teach us about materials and techniques throughout the class. I had so much fun and would love to do it again!” - Antonietta

“Simply the best crafternoon! Marianne was incredibly positive and supportive of my novice painting skills, where she took the time to show simple techniques that I can now use for future paintings. I loved the session the most because I felt like it was a safe place to explore my creativity without the pressure, and it was so much fun! I was thrilled to step away from my makeshift studio (aka. kitchen table) at the end of the session with a completed art piece and can’t wait to do it again!” - Tam

“I'm someone who loves the idea of painting, but never do any because it feels so intimidating. In 2 hours with Marianne's in-depth instruction and guidance, I was able to create something I wouldn't have done on my own - and finish something I could be proud of. She made the whole process very enjoyable and rewarding. Highly recommend her classes!”

"A wonderful, social experience, in which I felt safe to experiment with new techniques such as painting transparent objects under Marianne's careful and considerate guidance. I even jumped ahead at times by referring to the subject material we were painting together and then reflected back with the others. A rewarding lesson and definitely worth returning."

“Marianne is a very experienced teacher and has a pleasant way of teaching so you feel at ease right away. Marianne is very knowledgeable in teaching online so I overcame my hesitation of painting online right away. The class was fun, and at the same time very educational. Marianne gave very useful advice. I learnt so much and I am looking forward to the next online workshop..“
