Sock Puppet Workshops at the National Museum of Australia
These school holidays, join me at the National Museum of Australia for a week of hands-on, family fun with Sock Puppet Workshops, running 29 September – 3 October!

As part of the museum’s holiday program, children aged 5–12 years can step into the world of puppetry, designing and creating their very own sock puppet character. With guidance and inspiration, kids will bring their creations to life — exploring storytelling, voices, and imaginative play.
All materials and guidance is provided to spark creativity. Each child will leave with a puppet they can treasure (and perform with!) at home.
These sessions are a perfect complement to the Mr Squiggle and Friends exhibition, inspiring the next generation of storytellers and puppet-makers.
