Terms and conditions.

Before purchasing or booking, please read these terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

As a small business, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds. Your purchase is only valid for the time period you have selected. Any gifts or discounts are only valid for a limited time. If you choose to not attend one or more sessions, you will forfeit the purchase. Refunds can not be granted at this time.

All programs

  • Please act with kindness and curtesy to the teacher/facilitator and fellow participants to ensure an enjoyable time for everyone involved. Failure to do so may result in being removed from the session.

  • Payments and registration must be received before any stated cut-off date. If you enter a session without payments and registration, you may be removed from the session.

  • If the course is sold out or a person wishes to sign up after a course cut-off date, please contact us via email to see if places are or become available.

  • Language courses and art classes at Access Art Academy are currently only offered for adult learners. We are working on more options for younger learners in future.

  • Sessions times, dates and group sizes may be amended due to demand. Participants will be contacted if needed.

  • If for any reason Access Art Academy must reschedule or cancel sessions, we will get in touch as soon as possible to offer an alternative arrangement.

In-person art classes

  • Each course will state if materials are included, need to be purchased or brought to the class. Please check each listing carefully.

  • Please arrive on-time. If you are late, please contact us and we will ensure you are able to be let into the building as courses may be delivered outside business hours.

  • Coffee and tea will be provided, any further snacks and drinks must be provided by participants (with the exception of ‘Make art - eat cake’ sessions where coffee or a hot drink and cake is provided).

Online sessions

  • You must have your webcam on during the duration of a session in order to participate.

  • Every participant should be on mute initially, but if you are picked to talk you must unmute yourself before speaking.

  • Please ensure you have a quiet space when entering a live session.

  • If you would like to make a comment or ask a question during a session, please raise your hand first or type in the comment box.

  • Sessions may be recorded, if so - all participants will be notified before hand.

Support materials for courses and workshops

Recommended textbooks, links and other external resources recommended to support learning in courses are not affiliated with Access Art Academy in any way. Participants who purchase or access to resources outside of Access Art Academy, do so at their own risk.

Support materials are customised for each group and tailored to the pace and progress made during each session. The support materials are not made for stand-alone learning, but meant to support the sessions. Support materials are made available progressively during the course, to assist students who have attended online sessions. Students who fail to attend sessions may not receive access to support materials.

Support materials are for a student’s personal use only; use for any other purposes, including sharing with others, is prohibited without explicit prior written permission from Access Art Academy.
